CPB Contractors is advancing the Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative (ASMTI) facilities project at Greenvale, with tender submissions open for design consultants.
CPB Contractors was appointed managing contractor for the major Defence initiative late last year.
The project’s construction workforce is expected to peak at 350 workers, as part of the Greenvale Training Area’s major works.
Design work for the Greenvale site will commence in the coming months and construction will start in mid-2022. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2027.
CPB Contractors is working with the Department of Defence to achieve a local industry participation target of 90 percent.
Suitably qualified design consultants are now invited to tender for work packages across 24 different disciplines.
These include electrical, structural, geotechnical and mechanical engineering, quantity surveying, environment, communications, security, quarry management, fire safety, contamination, heritage and airfield and range planning.
Tender submissions will close on March 8, 2021.
